# Colt Capital Markets Taiwan
Colt is a licensed market data vendor and network service provider in Taiwan. We offer raw and normalised market data from Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE), Taipei Exchange (TPEx) and Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX). Colt offers ultra-low latency circuits between Taiwan, Hong Kong and Tokyo. In addition, Colt also has PrizmNet capability offering access to capital market content providers, including market data from all three of the Taiwanese exchanges delivered through strategic PoPs globally
### ABOUT THE TAIWAN MARKET
Taiwan is one of the most active securities markets in the Asia-Pacific region with all listed securities being issued without physical stock certificates. It is the 5th largest stock market globally. Foreign investors hold 47.4% of the market capitalization and account for 35.3% of total trading value per Taiwan Stock Exchange Jan 2026 Market Insight article.
**In Taiwan, there are three exchanges:**
* **Taiwan Stock Exchange** is the market for larger, more established companies. As of the end of 2024, the TWSE market size consisted of 1,031 listed companies (946 domestic and 85 foreign primary), 174 ETFs, 21 ETNs, 35,777 listed warrants, 6 REITs and 10 TDRs, providing investors with diverse products.
* **Taipei Exchange** was setup in 1994 to serve over-the-counter market and bond trading. Listing on TPEx can be a step towards TWSE listing. As at the end of 2025, there were 874 companies listed on the TPEx Mainboard with a total market capitalization reaching NT$7.41 trillion per its 2025 Annual Report.
* **Taiwan Futures Exchange** was established in 1997 to facilitate the development of Taiwan’s futures market. There are more than 300 products currently listed for trading which covers stock index futures and options, single stock futures, equity options, gold futures and options, and currency futures. There are two versions of market data available: Core (netted information) and Ultra (un-netted information). Both offer price aggregated order book data up to order book depth five.
