# バイオ炭 FAQ
バイオ炭に関して知っておくべきことはすべてこのページでご覧いただけます

バイオ炭は、安定した炭素を多く含む木炭のような物質です。酸素のない状態でバイオマスを加熱して作られます。CO2を放出するのではなく、土壌の健全性を向上させながら、炭素をバイオマスとして最大1000年間貯蔵します。
### 仕組み
バイオ炭は、残渣作物や有機廃棄物から作られます。木炭のようなものですが、さらに優れています。
バイオ炭を土に入れると、炭素を非常に長い間貯蔵し、土壌をより豊かにします。
実際、バイオ炭は炭素が空気中に戻るのを約1000年間防ぎます。木々が炭素を閉じ込めるのは60年程度なので、それよりはるかに長いです。

土壌がより良くなります。より多くの水を保持し、構造が強くなり、植物のための栄養分を保ちます。
